Ingredients
  

  • 8 chicken breasts bone-in and skin on
  • 6 Tbsp. of mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. of Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. of butter soft
  • 5 Tbsp. of crème fraiche
  • 1 cup of chicken stock
  • 10 to 15 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 1 shallot thinly sliced
  • Parsley chopped and for garnish
  • Dash of salt and black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Season the chicken with a dash of black pepper and salt. Rub the regular mustard over the chicken.
  • In a Dutch oven set over medium to high heat, add in the butter. Add in
  • the chicken and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer onto a plate and set aside.
  • Add the sliced shallot and onion into the Dutch over. Cook for 5 minutes or until soft.
  • Add in the chicken stock and deglaze the bottom of the pan. Add in the sprigs of thyme and the cooked chicken. Stir gently to mix. Add in the crème fraiche and stir gently to incorporate.
  • Transfer the Dutch oven into the oven to braise for 50 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Remove from heat and serve with a garnish of chopped parsley.
