Notes

Cajun cuisine is known for its bold and complex flavors, and the key to achieving that authentic taste lies in the "Holy Trinity" of Cajun cooking. This trio consists of onions, bell peppers, and celery, which form the flavor base for many Cajun dishes. Make sure to finely chop these aromatic vegetables and sauté them until they become tender and fragrant. The Holy Trinity adds depth and complexity to the etouffee, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that will make your taste buds dance with delight.
